After 8 years of performing security and architectural services for Fortune 500, Government, and Industrial customers, our company's founders decided they could make a difference by helping IT professionals put security into practice. Although proficient in data forensics, penetration testing, security architecture, intrusion detection/prevention, cyber-incidence response, and security policy management, our founders decided they could offer real value by teaching IT professional to manage VoIP security. In the current marketplace, VoIP training is virtually non-existent and many of the classes that are available are inadequate for Enterprise or Government class customers. As a result, many of the IT professionals that currently work with VoIP have backgrounds in traditional telephony or network engineering with little structured training in VoIP security. VoIP Security Training was created to teach IT professionals practical VoIP Security skills. Students who take our courses will have the knowledge necessary to manage security risk in an enterprise setting which will enable them to avoid many of the pitfalls that most businesses experience today when they start using VoIP.
VoIP Security Training, LLC presents students with something different. Our classes range from 1 to 4 days in length and can be tailored for private anchoring. Courses are designed to immerse students in practical situations that teach them how to design, develop, and hack VoIP systems. Classes are structured with both instruction and instructor-assisted labs. Labs allow students to gain some hands-on experience with an opportunity to ask questions. We do not beleive in concentrating on a single vendor. Unlike other VoIP training organization, we will not masquerade a sales pitch for a class. In additon, we equally cover open-source soft switch products and incumbent vendor products. Our instructors understand each firm has a different situation and may decide to use many vendors. We want to teach you how to evaluate these vendors, select appropriate products, and implement them securely. After your staff attends our classes, they will be empowered to make the right VoIP security decisions for your firm. Currently, too many firms are blindly implementing VoIP with a promise of security from their vendors. We want to change that. You should be in charge of your VoIP security. Let us help you.

In the event that a student complains that another student is soliciting unwanted products or services, we will ask the offending student to stop. In extreme cases, we must take action. Therefore, we reserve the right to ask the offending student to leave. In the event that a student is asked to leave for this kind of behavior, all enrollment fees will be forfeited. A student may be allowed back into the class if the student agrees not to solicit further in addition to buying everyone including the instructors a beer after the class. We don't have any problems with students passing out business cards, but don't even think of trying to show up with a box of brochures and press materials. This has actually happened before at some of the courses we have taught at conferences.
